Why we built DocuDrop
Documentaries are scattered across more streaming platforms than ever — Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, DocPlay, Neon, TVNZ+, and more — and finding out which one actually has the film you want to watch usually means opening five different apps and searching each one individually.
DocuDrop fixes that. It's a single, fast directory of documentaries across true crime, nature, sports, war, music, fashion and art, and all the weird cult stories in between — searchable, filterable by your region, and linked straight through to wherever each title is streaming.
We track documentary availability across major streaming platforms in multiple regions — New Zealand, Australia, the US, UK, India, Canada, Ireland, Germany, France, Japan, Brazil, and South Africa. Pick your region, browse or search, and click through to start watching on the platform that has it.
We don't host or stream any content ourselves. We're a directory, not a streaming service. When you click a title, we send you to the official platform — Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and so on — where you'll need your own subscription to watch.
Streaming availability shifts constantly as licensing deals change. We do our best to keep listings current, but if you spot something out of date, we'd genuinely like to know — accuracy is the whole point of the site.
